GS8000 1550nm Optical Switch

GS8000 Optic Switch is applied for automatic optic-line switch of optic transmitter

back-upinopticfibernetwork,whenthemainopticsignalisdefected,itcanswitch automatically to the back-up optic-line in order to maintain the transmission of optic signal. It adopts imported switch mode matching with the control circuit.

HOSW has very low insert loss ,Typical≤ 0.6dB、 Maximum1.0dB） ,with advanced level internationally, It has three types :1× 2,2× 1or2× 2, 19〃 standard casing Automatic status or manual switch status can be set at front panel. The optic power through by can be displayed at front panel.

HOSW optic switch is mainly applied in optic circuit switch , optic equipment switch that demandshighreliabilityoperation.SuchasCATVsystemhead-end1550nmOptic transmitter, EDFA automatic switch of heat-backup, with the aim of protection of optic route switch, self-healing circle network. Also it can be adopted in dynamic configure CADM , OXC, system monitoring and failure protection.

3. Set the switch point

Under Switch Mode menu, press button entering the submenu to amend, press button to select the mode, press Status button to save and exit the submenu.

4.IPSUBNETGATEWAY, TRAP ADDR1, TRAP ADDR2 address set

Under IPSUBNETGATEWAY, TRAP ADDR1, TRAP ADDR2 menu, press button entering the submenu to select the amend position, press button to select the amend position, Press Status button to save and exit the submenu.

WhenSwitchModeis"AutomaticState"whenthemainchannelpowerislowerthanthe switching point power, input power of the subordinate channel is higher than the switching power, select the subordinate channel output, otherwise the main channel output

When Switch Mode is selected as"Manual: A to 1;B to 2"select main channel output.

WhenSwitchModeisselectedas"Manual:Ato2;Bto1" selectsubordinatechannel output.
